Ty Stoddard | Founder & Principal Attorney

Ty Stoddard is defining the next generation of work comp defense in Idaho. After graduating summa cum laude from the University of Idaho College of Law and serving as the Executive Editor of the Idaho Law Review, Ty spent five years litigating at some of the state’s best defense firms.

During those formative years, Ty was mentored by the icons of the industry, mastering the intricate strategies and nuances required to in workers compensation defense. In founding Stoddard Law, he has taken that elite-level experience and sharpened it—combining the grit of traditional defense with a modern, high-quality, relational approach to legal service.

Beyond the Bar A dedicated father and local basketball coach, Ty brings the same values of teamwork and strategy to the courtroom that he instills in his players on the court. Deeply rooted in the Pacific Northwest, Ty is a passionate student of history and a lifelong sports fan, proudly cheering for the University of Idaho Vandals, Boise State Broncos, Seattle Mariners, and the Seahawks.
